I’m Kennan Teston, a Kansas City Realtor with over 13 years of real estate experience. I launched my career in the fast-paced, highly competitive market of Austin, Texas—where I also had the good fortune of meeting my wife. Like many couples, we eventually felt the pull to start a family and wanted to do it closer to loved ones. While my family still lives in the small Central Texas town where I was raised, Kansas City—my wife’s hometown—offered more opportunity for both our careers and our growing family.

Today, we proudly call Olathe home and are raising our beautiful daughter here.

When we first moved to KC, I stepped into a leadership role as Managing Director of one of the largest brokerages in the country. I spent that time mentoring agents, building business strategies, and helping the brokerage expand. Coaching others to succeed was an honor—but I eventually felt called to return to what I love most: serving clients directly.

That decision led me back into production, and I haven’t looked back. Now partnered with Compass, one of the most innovative and client-focused brokerages in the industry, I’m fully equipped to deliver a world-class experience to every buyer and seller I work with.

When I’m not negotiating deals or showing homes, you’ll find me with my family, casting a line, lifting weights, or just enjoying a quiet moment on the porch. Kansas City has welcomed us with open arms, and I’m grateful every day for the opportunity to help others plant roots and build their futures here.
